The Kuwaiti Women's Associations Union participated in a regional workshop titled "The Increase in Violence Against Women in Recent Years: Causes and Solutions."November 2022
This participation took place on Wednesday, November 30, 2022, through the Zoom application, aligning with the United Nations' activities during the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence, which runs from November 25 to December 10.
During the workshop, a research paper was presented, highlighting the reasons behind the increasing phenomenon of violence against women, as well as the status of Arab legislation in addressing it. Discussion papers were also presented on violence against women in various contexts, including public and private life, family, the digital realm, and violence during conflicts.
